As well as free entry and free parking at the farm there is a free woodland play area. Access is via the home field where you can see fish, poultry, lambs, calves and piglets.
Planted in 1999, Home Wood is open for FREE to celebrate 10 years of growth. Adults and accompanied children are welcome to wander the paths and explore, rest and play. There is no charge but please have "no impact" and tread lightly.
N.B. Please note that you and your children enter this wild area entirely at your own risk and discretion. It is a wild wood so you need to take sensible precautions to ensure your own safety. In particular, beware of barbed wire fences, stinging nettles, insects, trip hazards, tin and brambles.
Always wash your hands after playing on the equipment and before eating and drinking. Dogs on leads only please!
