The Church Farm butchery team, led by Danny and with over 50 years of combined experience, pride themselves on the quality of the meat produced on the farm. Every cut of meat in the farm shop, in the farm cafe, in the Jolly Waggoner pub and in the farm box scheme comes from healthy, happy free range Church Farm animals. Our rare breeds include Red Poll and Black Angus cattle, Berkshire and British Lop pigs, Black Welsh mountain and Lleyn sheep, Norfolk Black turkeys, Embden geese and Aylesbury ducks.
All the meat is hung for as long as possible to give the final product the best flavour and texture; plus we do not add water to meat, routinely use antibiotics, feed GM soya or any of the other industrial food chain chicanery.
The Church Farm butchery counter is open from Monday to Sunday, 9am - 4pm where you will find Danny and team to help and advise. Alternatively you can order online here for local or national delivery. You can also sign up to our farm box scheme and have a weekly meat box delivered every Friday containing great meat and other Church Farm produce.
