Enterprise Apprenticeships / Internships applicable to all ages.
Our current team of interns range from pre-university gap year, to graduates and post grads, university of life - many with work and life experience of many years too. We tailor each internship to each individuals talents and interests.
A year living and working on the farm suits people who are passionate about food, farming & the countryside - those willing to ask questions and eager to learn and improve things. It is a real experience and you will be given responsibility and a real hands-on learning experience.
We provide you accommodation (no utility bills), food and water from the farm, £50pw in expenses and the opportunity to learn.
What you do depends on your talents and desires to learn. Typically you would spend the bulk of your time on one enterprise in the Food, Horticulture or Farm sections and the remaining time would include responsibility for some aspects and helping with the preparation, display, sale and cooking of what you help to grow. Contact with the community comes through the Farm Store & Café, events, marketing, Farmers Markets, Farm Box scheme, Online Farm Store and Rural Care Enterprises.
